Description

The originally developed new COB realizes the ideal ‘center light distribution’ of a single light source for both wide and spot lighting. This compact light emits light without fluctuation making it useful in various scenes, not only imaging, but also wildlife observation or night diving. 

Center light distribution for both wide and spot

The light source is COB (LED), which has an established reputation for uniform light distribution. The original design customizes the COB into a donut shape. The wide light source is placed on the donut, and the spot light LEDs are placed in the center of the emitting surface (the donut hole). Whether wide or spot lighting, the optical axis is on the center of the light-emitting surface, ensuring optimum lighting at all times.

Eliminate ‘multi-shadowing’

COB eliminates ‘multi-shadows’ in both wide and spot lighting. The natural shadows bring out the subject clearly and sharply, making it an ideal light for imaging

Various light intensity adjustment functions

Light adjustment : 4-step light adjustment (25% increments)
For 4-step light adjustment, press the power/light adjustment button when the light is on. It circulates between 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% per press to change the light intensity according to the situation.

Light adjustment : 100-step light adjustment (1% increments)
100-step light adjustment from 0 to 100% is performed with the light intensity adjustment buttons on the left and right. Subtle adjustment is possible in 1% increments. The digital % display allows for fine adjustment and a sense of security.

Memory function
It is also equipped with a ‘memory function’ that turns back on at the same light intensity as when the light was turned off. It is is especially useful when recording video, as it turns on at the same light intensity as when the light was turned off.

Wide selection of attachment parts

Multiple attachments are packaged as included items for various purposes.

Gun grip, YS base, Ball base, GoPro base, etc. can be attached or replaced according to the situation.

It can be used not only as a handy light for fun diving but also as a light for imaging by attaching to housing or arm system to extend to diverse lighting.

*Each attachment should be fixed firmly with base fixing screws once setting in the base holder of the light. The included lanyard that is useful for carrying and loss prevention is used by attaching to the oval hole of the base.

Power up by replacing the light head

The LX series light heads can be exchanged for higher-end models with higher maximum luminous power. The body part is the same; the LX-2400SW FS light head can be used as a 2400 lm light, and the LX-4000SW FS light head can be used as a 4000 lm light.
*Setting is required after replacing the light head. Please refer to the instruction manual for details.
