OCEAN REEF NEPTUNE II NIRA is the integration of the second stage (NIRA) and a full face mask (Ocean Reef NEPTUNE II) NIRA (Neptune Integrated Regulator Adapter) is an adjustable second stage specifically designed for the features of the Ocean Reef NEPTUNE II. The performance of the Ocean Reef NEPTUNE II is maximized by the use of the NIRA. Occasionally, when second stages impact the waters surface, they begin to free flow. By using a double position deflector, which partially covers the orifice through which the air enters the second stage, these free flows are eliminated. The deflector positions are well marked, for an easy identification, while wearing the mask. The effort required to "crack" the seal upon inhalation is manually adjustable so that different con ditions and depths are easily accommodated. The NIRA (second stage) is designed to be used at low temperatures where other regulators usually freeze. The purge button is large and oval shaped making its use easy. A special locking device protects the front cover from being accidentally unscrewed.

Ocean Reef Neptune II NIRA has obtained the CE Certification in accordance with 89/689/EEC directives under the UNI EN250 standard rules for underwater activities even at low temperature (<50 F?)
