DRAINING
AND PRESSURE EQUALIZATION
Since
the pressure inside the mask is the same as that outside of the mask the
Ocean Reef NEPTUNE II will not cause "mask squeeze." Mask squeeze is caused
when the pressure outside the conventional mask is greater than the pressure
inside the mask. Water that might seep into the mask is easily eliminated
by exhaling oil by pushing the "purge" button on the NIRA second
stage.

| THE
3D EQUALIZATION SYSTEM A movable and adjustable plate with 2 anatomic
silicone nuts, hasbeen designed to allow equalization during a
dive.
The equalization is quite easy. By pressing the upper side of the visor,
the plate with the 2 nuts moves I back and close to the nostrils. The 3D
equalization system can be adju
stedto
have the right position in according with the individual's nose. The nuts
may be moved up or down depending on the length of the individua- l's nose.
They have an eccentric assembly on the plate and it allows the fitting of
larger or narrower noses. It makes equalization very comfortable and avoids
any undesired pressure during the dive. The 3D equalization system is anOcean

| USE
OF CONVENTIONAL REGULATORS The special adapter that comes with
the mask, allows the connection of several kinds of regulators. The
joint is of medium size. The small size is available upon request,
as an accessory. USE OF OVER-INJECTED REGULATORS Over-injected
regulators have
adiaphragm with aninhalationcracking p
ressure
lower than zero. These regulators "free flow" too easily
and as a resultshould not be used with the Ocean Reef NEPTUNE II

Support system for optical lenses (code 33299) A lens frame specially
designed for the Ocean Reef NEPTUNE II masks allows the use of standard optical lenses
(not included) during the dive. This accessory which is both light weight
and strong, can easily be inserted inside the mask, and quickly removed.
It is a unique characteristic of Ocean Reef Neptune System.Small size
regulator attachment (code 33020) for regulators with lower dimensions.
PolarTex strap (code 9005) A fabric strap designed for extreme low temperature
applications, but also comfortable for those with lomh air. H47 - Blackened
face shield (code 7006) Our blackened face shield is used for special applications.
This optical shield is painted to limit the view angle, it does not have
a siloxane double coating.
