"I must go down to the seas again, to the lonely sea and sky, and all I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by, and the wheel's kick and the wind's song and the white sail's shaking, and a gray mist on the sea's face, and a gray dawn breaking ..." John Masefield |

Ocean Reef Neptune
System Masks and regulators have traditionally been separate units in recreational diving. |
|
| Since
all humans breathe primarily through their nose while at the same time use
their mouth for communication isn't it reasonable to conclude that making
the mask and regulator two separate units is relatively unna- tural. By
making the mask and regulator separate we allow the rest of the face to
be exposed to the elements thus losing precious body heat. By integrating
these systems we solve several pro- blems. We are thermally more efficient,
we can communicate, we have a much better "field of vision" and
we are much more comfortable. The Ocean Reef challenge for the new millennium
is based on the above premises. Ocean Reef introduced an integrated system, mask
and regulator, with an underwater communications system. The Ocean Reef NEPTUNE SYSTEM
is the future of scuba diving! The evolution of the human race has accelerated
to the point that today a child is able to easily perform tasks that adults
were unable to accomplish 100 years ago. We are capable and should expect
to use more sophisticated and complete systems. We are able to dive like real "aquanauts" to explore and conquer the last frontier on the planet: The Oceans! |
