IMPORTANT RECALL NOTICE – IST Saturn BCD.
The manufacturer of the IST Saturn Buoyancy Compensation Device has informed us that a potentially dangerous fault has been discovered in a batch of jackets.
We believe that the BCDs supplied to Sea & Sea Limited are of a latter batch and only a small number of earlier models are affected.
Nevertheless, for the sake of safety, we require you to return your IST Saturn BCD to us for examination..
We must stress that this fault affects only a small number of units and appears only after some usage.
The intention is, therefore, to identify any potentially faulty jacket before it reaches this stage.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS POSTED IN 2006 AND THIS SPECIFIC MODEL IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. ALL SATURN BCDS ARE OUTSIDE THE 12 MONTHS WARRANTY PERIOD. THIS RECALL NOTICE IS FOR ADVICE ONLY.
