IST Single Tank Adaptor [TAD-1]

Made from type 304 stainless steel, the single tank adaptor is strong and has excellent anti-corrosion characteristic.

TAD-1 has two sets of tank strap slots for a secure tank fitting. The square holes are 11 inches apart and can be easily attached to the back plate. Comes with 2 sets of attachment bolts, washers and winged nuts.

These double-layer buoyancy air cells are made with special 3 dimensional panel construction, which are streamlined and can achieve the lift capacity without increasing much resistance.The outer shell is constructed from tear resistant, 1680 denier ballistic nylon and its durable anti-corrosion zip encloses the replaceable inner air cell inside, which is made from 420 denier TPU material. The inflator hose and dump valve’s cut outs in the outer shell are urethane protected from fraying. IST Stainless Steel Back PLate [BP-3]

The BP-3 stainless back plate is made from type 304 stainless steel, which is high in tensile strength and is passivated for good corrosion resistance. Being the heart of a technical buoyancy system, all IST back plates are press formed individually and all edges on both sides are deburred and rounded to avoid cutting the harness. Apart from the 5cm (2”) slots for the harness and crotch strap, there are 10 additional perimeter holes for mounting equipment such as stage bottle, torches etc. There are also 3 sets of holes, each 11 inches apart, along the centre of the plates for attaching the single tank adaptor or twin tank bands.

Twin-hose, twin-tank technical diving air cell with redundant bladder and inflator, providing 65lb /29.5kg of lift. Perimeter bungee cords compress the air cell into a hydrodynamic profile when gas is vented from the bladder. The 1680 denier ballistic nylon outer shell is extremely wear-resistant and gives the best protection under testing conditions. Primary and redundant bladders made in tough 210 denier TPU coated fabric for added assurance. Comes with a 16 inch and 19 inch elbow corrugated hoses and each bladder is equipped with 2 automatic pressure relieve valves, providing convenience and the best in buoyancy control. The automatic pressure relieve valves and primary / redundant hose positions are interchangeable to allow for customised configuration. 2 sets of three marine-grade steel grommet accommodate different air cell positioning preferences.
